A Custom English Garden in North Eagle
This north Eagle backyard got a whole new look. We built a berm surrounded by boulders and planted an English garden around it, with Blue Atlas Cedar, Serbian Spruce, Weeping Norwegian Spruce, Sky Pencil Holly, English and French Lavender and a Shademaster Honey Locust. We also reinstalled the irrigation so everything gets the water it needs.
Before we planted a thing, our client got to see the whole design with custom concept drawings of each side of the yard.
Designing for Year-Round Interest
A great landscape should look good in January too. For this Eagle estate we used large pines and cedars like Cedrus Blue Atlas, Angel’s Blue Weeping Cedar and Picea Hoopsii Spruce, then layered in smaller conifers and groundcovers so the garden has color and structure all year long. We also redid the edging around the property’s pond.
Two Rivers Community Concepts
The Two Rivers HOA asked us to come up with new designs for the islands in their community. They wanted grasses and perennials that would be easy to maintain, so we chose shrubs for their availability, hardiness and drought tolerance, then put together concept designs so everyone could see the finished look before planting began.
