Clients required complete renovation of an 8,100 SF large scale, multi-family housing complex.
Existing mulch and remaining black and tan gravel was cleared, soil was prepped, existing rock and debris was removed, dead shrubs were removed, soil was amended, new drip lines were installed, and irrigation issues were fixed, including a broken pipe that was flooding in two areas. Roughly 80 shrubs/grasses that were low maintenance & pet resistant were planted.
The job included four days of prep, leveling of soil, adding necessary soil amendments, four days of planting, including setting irrigation drip lines, laying new gravel, and hauling of all debris. The shrubs selected were based on availability, hardiness, and ability to plant well into October which was when this job was completed.
Plantings included: Boxwood (Buxus s Dee Runk), Feather Reed Grass (Calamagrostis), Big Leaf Hydrangea (Little Hottie), Dwarf Reed Grass, Hydrangea Incrediball, Alder Buckthorn (Rhamnus Tall Hedge), Salvia, Variegated Dogwood Lavender (Lavendula Angostifolia), Woodland Sage (Salvia), and Doublefile (Viburnum).
